The Parkam Food Group buys Freshway Foods

Parkam Foods are excited to announce a new addition to the group portfolio. We have purchased, out of administration, Freshway Foods, which will now trade as Freshway Chilled Foods Ltd. We look to the future with confidence for both of our trading positions, in slices meats and the sandwich/filling business. The combined groups turnover will now be around £140 million, which offers great economies of scale and ensures a competitive position.

Freshway Chilled Foods bring to the group a state of the art sandwich and sandwich filling facility with a 250 strong workforce with a great skill set. Our product portfolio will now also incorporate sandwiches, bulk fillings and ready-prepared fillings in retail pots.
