Another Great Result at the Quality British Turkey Awards

The group was proud to have several nominations in multiple categories for this years turkey awards, and even prouder to go home with several of them!

The competition was tough, but in the end Lincs walked away with 2 awards – Best Christmas Product and Best Branded Product for Lincs Turkeys Fresh Lincolnshire Turkey; beating, amongst others, Bernard Matthews and Cranberry Foods.

In addition, Waitrose won best primary product for a Lincs product – Waitrose Lincolnshire Turkey.

Held annually and announced at a glittering ball the Quality British Turkey Awards are a highlight on the meat trade calendar. Competition is fierce and the judging process a closely guarded secret, with judges drawn not just from the industry but also featuring consumer panellists.

The number and standard of entries is very high, so it’s a big honour to have been so successful. Well done to everyone at Lincs for such a wonderful result.
